NatalCast Privacy Policy
NatalCast ("we", "our", or "us", available at natalcast.com) provides a deterministic Vedic astrology and astronomical calculation service through the NatalCast mobile application and web platform. We treat personal birth chart data with utmost sensitivity and confidentiality. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, storage, processing, and protection of your information in strict compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and Google Play User Data policies.
1. Information We Collect
To perform mathematical astronomical calculations and generate personalized transit dossiers, NatalCast collects:
- Birth Profile Coordinates: Name or chosen alias, date of birth, time of birth (if provided), and geographic birth location (latitude and longitude). This data is strictly used to query the Swiss Ephemeris engine.
- Astrological Inquiries: Voluntary questions submitted in the inquiry or transit reflection modules.
- Device & Session Tokens: An anonymous, locally generated cryptographic UUID used to preserve your charts across app sessions without harvesting personal phone identifiers, contacts, or hardware serials.
- Google Play Purchase Records: Transaction confirmation tokens generated by Google Play In-App Billing for NatalCast Pro or entitlement passes. We do not access, store, or process your credit card numbers or banking data.
2. How We Process Your Information
- Executing high-precision celestial longitudes, Vimshottari Dasha cycles, and house cusps using the Swiss Ephemeris and Sidereal Lahiri Ayanamsha.
- Synthesizing personalized daily cosmic battery indicators, transit friction warnings, and relationship synastry.
- Delivering voluntary daily morning transit directives and push notifications (if enabled).
3. Algorithmic Guardrails & Language Processing
NatalCast utilizes language models strictly to convert mathematically determined planetary coordinates into readable, reflective English narrative prose. Our natural language system never calculates planetary positions, determines transits, or makes medical, legal, or guaranteed predictive statements.
- All outputs are governed by strict safety rules prohibiting medical diagnoses or financial speculation.
- Users can report or flag any response directly inside the app or by contacting privacy@natalcast.com.
4. Data Ownership, Retention & Permanent Deletion
You retain complete ownership of your astrological profile at all times. You can permanently erase all records at any time:
- In-App: Go to Profile → Privacy → "Delete Account & Data".
- Web Portal (Google Play Compliant): Without requiring the application to be installed, you can submit a deletion request via our public Account & Data Deletion Portal.
5. Third-Party Sharing & Advertising
We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal or birth data. NatalCast contains zero third-party advertising tracking SDKs. Data is never shared with data brokers.
6. Security Standards
All network communication between your device and NatalCast servers is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). Storage volumes are guarded by isolated network perimeters and strict access controls.
